Dear friends and followers,
I want to thank you for your support, engagement and visits in my studio in 2021. I appreciate very much to discuss with you, and to hear which memories and thoughts my paintings are awakening in you.
I have thought a lot about the meaning of painting, which I often do while I’m painting, when the thoughts are flowing freely. :) The answer may vary, but I do find that the interaction is very important reason for creating art. I love the interaction between visual and spoken language. Or in simple words, I’m very happy that you are visiting my Ateliér for a discussion and a cup of coffee or tea!

För några dagar sedan åkte vi ut i skogen med fotograf Arto Timonen för att fotografera posters. Vi valde en sjö på kartan, och kom till en badstrand omgiven av skogsstigar och sportplaner…

För några dagar sedan åkte vi ut i skogen med fotograf Arto Timonen för att fotografera posters. Vi valde en sjö på kartan, och kom till en badstrand omgiven av skogsstigar och sportplaner. Alltid spännande att upptäcka nya fina ställen i närområdena. I skogen blommade blåsippor och vitsippor som bäst. Vi hade såklart inte räknat med att posters fladdrar också av små vindpustar!
De stora bykkniporna fungerar fint också för att hänga posters inomhus. Mera upphägningstips blir det en annan dag.

A few days ago we went to the forest with photographer Arto Timonen to take photos of our posters. We chose a lake on the map, and came to a beach surrounded by forest paths and sports fields . It’s exciting to discover new places in the neighborhood areas. In the forest the wood anemone and blue anemone blossomed at their best. We didn’t expected that posters flutter much of just small puffs!
You can also hang the posters with pegs indoors. More ideas for hanging posters inside comes soon.
