My nature-friendly oil painting style

I really love to paint with oil colors, but since I’m sensitive for toxic mediums and as well I want to keep my art as environmentally friendly as possible, I will tell you a little bit about my way of painting.

With some research I found out some really qualitative mediums, that’s not causing health issues. Of course, I’m happy that I can offer safe art for my collectors too. :)

To get the color smoother I add linseed oil, a really classical oil painting medium. I always colors with pigments that are not harmful. No warning signs on my color tubes!

For dripping and fluid painting I add Sennelier green non-toxic thinner (I’m not sponsored, but I do recommend this product).

I add Kaolin (clay) powder to make a really thick paint. That’s really my favorite medium! Also it’s really cheap and a bag is very long-lasting. I use it for example to paint water-lilies almost in relief or 3D style. So funny and cool!

I always wash my brushes with pine soap after a painting session. Do I use turpentine at all?The answer is NO!
